This pot was specially commissioned in China by Takasago-an, a renowned bonsai establishment in Japan known for collecting prized trees and cultivating Shikoku Goyomatsu (Japanese white pine).
It is a distinguished rectangular pot with inward-curving corners and cloud-shaped feet, featuring a dignified design that highlights its refined craftsmanship.
The soft, warm tone of the UDEI is also exceptional.
It is well-suited for mature specimens of Goyomatsu or Kuromatsu (Japanese black pine).
There are two kiln marks on the pot.
There are some chips and scratches on the feet and the inner rim.
